University of Macedonia (UOM) is a multi-disciplinary, research-oriented academic institution, located in Thessaloniki, Greece. UOM has established a well-known reputation both nationally and internationally, with state-of-the art curricula, graduate and postgraduate programs, innovative research activities and initiatives that reflect its dynamic character. The research group of UOM that participates in MESON has extensive experience in (next-generation) Internet architectures and technologies (e.g., NFV, SDN, MEC).
National Technical University of Athens
The National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) is the oldest and most prestigious educational institution of Greece in the field of technology, and has contributed unceasingly to the country’s scientific, technical and economic development since its foundation in 1836. A recent survey on the number of research projects sponsored by the European Commission classifies NTUA in the second place among all European Universities and in the fourth place among all European organizations, including private enterprises. The group which participates in the proposed activities belongs to the NETwork Management & Optimal DEsign Laboratory (NETMODE – http://www.netmode.ntua.gr).
